The One With The Annoying Cough

I have developed a cough.
Not one of those cute little "hem hem" coughs but an annoying, will-not-go-away, constantly-tickling-my-throat coughs.  And I am sick of it!  I work in an office surrounded by other people and I know what they are all thinking...  "who's that person infecting us all"?
And as they silently curse me I wish I could say that it's not my fault!  I caught off someone else and even if I do pass it on to you (which I probably will) you will pass it on to someone else and they will hate you just as much (or possibly more) than you hate me right now.

They call it karma right?!

Review: Nude by Nature Ultimate Nude Palette

A few weeks ago I tweeted about the Nude by Nature Ultimate Nude Palette but never followed it up with a blog post like I meant to.

(Btw if you're not following me, then you should :) - my twitter is @AprilThinking)

As mentioned in the tweet the main thing I love about this palette is the packaging.  The palette comes in a metallic brown-grey case that contains the 3 shadows, a double ended eyeshadow brush and a large mirror making it perfect for on the go!  This palette looks so sleek and quite high-end and it makes a lovely addition to any makeup collection.

The palette is as the name suggests the "Ultimate Nude" eyeshadow palette comprising of the three following shades:

"creme" - as it's name suggests this one is a matte cream colour perfect to highlight the brow bone and also to use as a base for the rest of your eyeshadow.

"latte"  -  a light/medium matte brown colour perfect as an all-over lid colour or to define your crease if you're going for a very natural look.

"espresso"  -  a dark taupe-brown colour with bronze flecks, perfect to blend into your crease to further define your eye look.

Overall these shadows create a very natural and lovely look.  The brush included in the kit applies the colour quite nicely to the crease and lid and then I blend the colours in with my own blending brush.  These shadows are extremely pigmented and easy to blend.  I carry this palette permanently in my handbag as the mirror is amazing and the shadows are perfect to use everyday.

You can buy this beautiful palette here for the RRP of $24.95.  I bought it in a set about a year ago from Target for $19.95 and the set included an eyeshadow primer and concealer so it's worth looking out for deals like this.

Have you tried this palette or anything else from Nude by Nature?  This is all I've tried so far but it has wet my taste-buds for more!  Let me know if you have recommendations for me to try!
